The project involves the demolition of approximately 14,000 square feet of existing garage and office facilities at the Yard located on Slauson Avenue. A new building of approximately 7,100 square feet will replace the existing structures. The building is two stories CMU with steel framing and consists of 1 elevator. The roof and carport house solar panel. This building meets LEED silver requirements. The new site layout will feature a more efficient parking layout and vehicular circulation appropriate for the large trucks that dispatch from this location. Site improvements include new parking, landscaping and irrigation, site utilities and biofiltration system. The site is about 37,600 square feet in size and will comply with the “Americans with Disabilities Act, (ADA).”
