The Slauson Connect Recreation Center project seeks to add much needed open space, increase the availability of recreational opportunities, and provide child care facilities in an underserved neighborhood in South Los Angeles. A building up to 20,000 square feet would be constructed to provide flex spaces to accommodate a variety of recreation related programs, a childcare center, and community meeting rooms. Public open space and pedestrian bike trails would also be constructed. Work in this Contract includes all design-build contract bridging documents, permitting, project management labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of Slauson Connect Recreation Center.
