This project consists of demolition an existing Recreation center, approximately 8,400 SF and replacing it with a new Gymnasium approximately 11,000 SF. The Gymnasium will include a full-size basketball court and general office and recreation rooms. Includes all electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing. The building consists of CMU and concrete columns, tectum acoustical assembly, motorized basketball backboards, and a mat foundation. The site work includes demolishing of all existing asphalt, concrete, landscaping and replacing it with permeable concrete and new landscaping and irrigations system, and site utilities. One full size and half size outdoor basketball court and new parking lot will be added. The existing childcare center will have remodeled bathrooms that meet ADA requirements. This is designed to achieve a Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification rating.
