This project consists of renovating an existing Animal Services Center, approximately 37,000 SF with approximately 4500 SF of addition being added to the existing Animal Services Center. The scope of work includes site works, relocating City staffs and animals to newly built modular units with animal hospital facilities and animal cages for duration of 2 years, installation and upgrading HVAC units, upgrading the foundation including micro piling and mud jacking of exterior existing kennels. Existing kennels to be power washed and epoxy coated throughout. All electrical upgrades, new interactive animal glass display cases, and animal cages in interior upgraded areas of the Animal Services Center, and renovation of the interior rooms and the exterior of the building. This is designed to achieve a Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification rating.
