The scope of work for this project consists of the construction a new two-story 18,533 square foot fire station, car port, hose tower, diesel fuel tank and site work on a 1.19 acre lot. The building is CMU block wall with wood and steel framing over-excavation and R&R. Site work will include new concrete paving, removing and replacing the sidewalks, site CMU wall, a fabricated steel hose tower, and landscaping. The offsite work shall consist of Street traffic and lighting, removing and replacing sidewalk along Oxnard avenue and building a CMU sound wall along Oxnard Ave. The project will implement Building Information Modeling and will aim to reach LEED silver.
